GAS
Although natural Gas communities are not as common as they are in other areas of the US, Jacksonville does have some communities with natural gas. Communities without natural gas will still have homes with gas appliances, but the gas is provided via a private gas service that delivers the gas either from a truck or prefilled gas cans. If your home does not have gas and you want to add it, call one of our agents. We can get an independent contractor out to see what your options are to add gas service to your home.

With TECO’s Natural Choice Transportation Service program, commercial businesses with non-interruptible (firm) service can buy natural gas from the provider of their choice.
Private Provider Gas Companies
Most buyers find it easiest to start with whatever company the current owners are utilizing. There are some particular details that will need to be covered, but here is the general gist. If the tank is buried, it is owned by the home owner. If the tank is above ground, it could be owned or it could be rented. Private Gas company A can not provide service for Private Gas company B's equipment. We will help you navigate which company to contact to get your gas needs met.
